i might unscrew the bulb to reduce the heatload- might get a datalogger in to moniter the pulldown temp as product was entering the conditioned space at around -12 deg as the supermarket was about 4 miles away an mr monkey had perform miracles ensuring it all fitted in- chucking out some of her salad/readymeals in the process!haha

You could always get the beers out and eat a couple with your friend, thereby reducing the heat load :D

do i need to hide the brands as this could be deemed as advertising-shall i restock it and see if it all fits back in??
maybe a competition to guess the price of the shopping bill?? also by putting this heatload on the freezer side will affect the temperature in my fridge side then affecting the beer temps!!!

Considering the product you are storing, you really should consider upgrading to a walk in freezer/cooler combo. It isn't good to have to decide what products to keep. Then these types of questions wouldn't have to answered, plus you would be able to throw out an invitation to all us refrigeration engineer posters to come by and partake...:D

Chemi Thanks for clearing up one of my lifes little mysterys Being a NH3 man Ive always wondered if the light in my beer fridge goes out when the door closes. Now I understand that all I need is a shot door and the light goes off. Thanks again CD

I snap my fingers and those things inside, just appear on the table next to me.
