When you disconnect the oil line from the trax oil and you have pressure bleeding through the trax from the compressor what sort of problems can that lead to because as far as I was aware when you disconnect the oil line from it and remove the solenoid coil normally you can clean the orifice without any pressure bleeding through.

looking at attached I would presume you either have refrigerant in the oil or the valve is not sealing fully

this may only be an issue when pressure is greater on the compressor side of the valve

quick fix would be to isolate and transfer all to reciever, whilst you carry out your work

I wouldn't think they would seat in the reverse direction, that is - when the crankcase pressure exceeds the inlet pressure. This is normal for a solenoid valve.

To clean them you will need to have zero pressure on both sides of the solenoid.
