hi chillerman
wow, thats an extensive manual collection.il have a look through.the controller is off a clima roca / york system. i wanted to see the control capabilities of the controller.. currently there are 4 systems, 1 soh180-h condenser and 2 s1h090/120 evaps and 1 controler per system. as each evap is feeding a differant area of an indoor market im looking at ways of putting a control setpoint for each fancoil.if i cant do this from the existing controller im going to have to put an aditional pcb on the condenser and and aditional controller per system i guess

With one condensing unit you'll need a common setpoint, the controller is basic enough, on/off heat cool and fan speed, you can tie the outdoor into a bms though and control the indoors through it.

no worries chillerman
Hi al ,thanks ..im not sure if my garbled message before made sense.what our client wants is.....to operate the fancoils seperatly from each other and have there own setpoint.as the condenser has two independant fridge circuits i dont see why it shouldnt be possible

Check the outdoor, have you two sets of control boards? If so then you can control independently, mode must be the same for both.
some basic info:
http://unitary-europe.york.com/ingles/leaflets-2007-eng/SOC-SOH-K.pdf
for seperate setpoints wire a stat to each indoor, stat info here:
http://planning.bournemouth.gov.uk/OnlineRegister/Attachments/43757/Report_200781615320.pdf
They are not networkable and won't talk to each other, just basic control.
i think i have one in the van if you're stuck, i found that any generic heat pump controller did the same thing
and much easier to get.

Cheers al, the york controller manual is a great help. it looks like il have to put an aditional lon board in each condenser along with an aditional controller to operate the fan coils.
