have a trane chiller with faulty crank case heaters that are 415 volt can only seem to get 230 volt from supliers any one no who supplies them other than trane

L1+N can often give the correct voltage..

Didn't think they had a neutral! Thought they were just three phase with a 24v control circuit, but i don't work on them so don't know!

As far as I know all Trane gear bigger than splits is 3 phase only, no Neutral.

would make sense, and would probably explain why they used a 415v heater in the first place :)

i had a faulty time clock that controlled a filter cleaning cycle for a cooling tower system, that was 415v because it only have 3 phases run to it, i searched and searched and could not find a 415v time clock anywhere to replace it, i had to install a transformer and a 240v one, running a neutral was out of the question.

i have seen quite a few 415v crankcase heaters around though, so i would have thought they wouldnt be that hard to find, but iv never tried to buy one either.... so good luck!
