Thermo King TS-200 nightmare!

Hello,

I am working on a TK TS-200 with a code 23, check cooling cycle, Found that 3-way valve was sticking, change the end cap and install a new rebuild kit. and it is still doing it. The pilot sol. is not leaking, the bypass condenser check valve is working fine, but it will run for about 4 hours and then stick between heat and cool, while in cool. any suggestion? thank you.

looks like its not returning after defrost and is sticking on return to cool unit must be on cs as the failure should have happened sooner if it was on continus run mode.i had this fault too tk changed the piston ass an seal way back when they went to 404a the seal is only supported by an o ring to the piston and it twists off its pure s..t if you can still get the old style seal and piston put that in. they say its not sutible for 404a i'av used this with no recurring probs.!!!!!!!!!!

Have you tried shimming the return spring? Get a little more tension on it.

whats the pressures,high head pressure can cause problems did you clean out the valve [is there any evidence of foriegn objects]
