Hi Ronny

there are a number of good a/c specifiers here

which if you supply your standard a/c heat load conciderations to your post will be able to give you an accurate reply

this would also show your an engineer & not someone who should be calling one

Hi Ronny

who is going to fit the unit if your not mate ??

new law came out this year (july) that has made it illegal for the unqualified to touch this equipment

as you need an engineer/company to install

you be best getting a few quotes, note the make/model being offered to you

and then come back with these and we can give you a view of whats what

other than that, to get a good answer to your original question

you will need to list your heat loads - direction its facing, number of occupents, ect ect

ive been told fujitsu asyg24lf 7kw but it may struggle so x2 off one condenser.

the installers think that is too much and 2x 5kw would be better?

Ronny

Giving a room dimension for a conservatory is useless, as per chillerman above, what orientation, what is the roof made of, how many windows and how big, is the room completely sealed from the rest of the house, what colour carpet is fitted?

All things that entail a site visit

all that would give an exact but is not needed to give a rough idea

ronni=typical rule of thumb 180w/m2
9.1x3.1x180=5.077kw
as a wall mount has a 3mtr air throw ud be best fitting a twin system if u fit 2 splits then get a hard wired controller and link them so they both operate off the same logic.
to be on the safe side 2x 3.5kw indoors on a multi split. good luck with fishing pipework through ur cavity as its an art to hide ur pipework,drain etc
:cool:

Rough ideas are no good as you may be unhappy with the outcome then refuse to pay up.

Look I work for an a/c distributer. My partners auntie is the one who want a/c. Her installers reckon 2x 5kw but the guy I work with says 2x 7kw and there is a huge difference, so I wanted to see what you guys Thought without having to write an essay.

I want to pull some thing that is 27 cu meters, one guy says a piece string and one guys says it needs a rope.
Who is right! The devil is in the detail.
So to make a reasonable estimate, you need to write the essay.
But I think you are a rude Pryke. Prove us wrong!
