On the assumption you mean a Carrier 30GH using a multiple meter set to ohms auto setting measure the resistance across the terminals red is common you should have 25ohms between red and the other 4 terminals ( remove from the EXV driver in the control panel)+-2ohms outside of this reading would suggest you have a seized driver motor, also remove cable from the EXV and check for continuity to earth if this checks put ok you need to check the driver you should have a red and green light on the driver red solid green should flash if you have no lights check the transformer fuses (tc1)

thinks james ithink when iwas test expansion the motor expansion its good work but when the chiller running inoticed 2signal befor the compressor working .the 2signals for closing and when the comperssors running it give signal four opning and thin closing alarm code 41 icheked oil leval> thermestor
