Powerlink inside Hussman Protocol

Hello everyone, this is my first post. Hopefully I have put this in the right section, if not, please redirect me.

Here is my question -- I am doing start up on a Hussmann Protocol for a smaller sized market. I have started these up before, but they used to use contactors for the electric defrost from the CPC boards for the coils. Now they are using a new technology I have not seen before. It is called Powerlink, and it looks to be switching polarity to run the defrost, I could be way off, I am really not sure.

Was hoping someone has had some experience with this.

2. When the defrost relay is energized the POWERLINK™ breakers will receive a momentary charge or pulse from a capacitor in its POWERLINK™ Power Supply (PPS). The energized motor moves a push/pull rod similar to what might be found in a manual switch. A slight delay between the control circuit demand and the POWERLINK™ response will be noticed. This pulse switches the POWER- LINK™ such that the heaters are now energized. At the termination of defrost, the PPS will receive another pulse, causing the POWER- LINK™ to switch off.

not answering yr question but a question to 750 valve this power link from a capacitor does it pre charge the heaters so there is no voltage drop and less of an amp surge to the heaters when they start ? or does the capacitor charge and then when heaters are hot does it maintain the heater until the defrost finished so you dont have a large energy usage on heaters ? love the signature lol

thanks brian its all clear now its a very complicated 2 second time delay switch with extra posh low voltageness i worked for hussman for a few years and have never seen one thanks again:)
