Was wondering if anyone could offer some suggestion about a problem we have with a TM 1000, we deliver to south Texas where the tempature get 102 or above and our unit keeps getting an Hi Pressure alarm. We had a the carrier dealer here and so far they replace the ATS senor and a snubber that control the Hi Pressure but still keep having this problem. If anyone has an ideal what could cause this please let me know.

Wash the condenser coil till you think it's clean, then spray with coil cleaner and let soak per directions. Rinse with power washer carefully not to bend fins on the coil and continue rinsing with unit runing until rinse water is clear.

Of course there are many causes of high pressure, cleaning the coil is basic maintenance, but takes care of that problem on most Carrier's.

Thanks DaButcher for the quick response, we already had it cleaned 5 time already eve taking the condensor apart to give a full clean and this hasn't worked. Carrier has the trailer but sure if they will find the problem since we sent it there 5 times already with out results.

How quickly does it go out on HP? Does it still if water is run over the coil when the unit is running? What state is the discharge check valve in?

Check refrigerant level, possible non-condensibles in system. Check the clutch, Genesis are a little hard on them since they come out of defrost at 1700 rpm. Check Unloaders. Depending on what revision of eeprom, high pressure can also mean low pressure.
