Hey everyone, i have a daikin 4mxs32gvju heat pump unit that will cycle the outdoor fan motor to almost full speed and then to it will almost come to a stop. most of the time it operates normal and then for no particular reason the fan will cycle on/off.
The system is a 4 port with four 9kbtu wall mount units. it seems to only happen when any one of the wall units are calling for heat or cool.
Has any one had a similar experience?
All sensors check out fine and system has the right refrigerant charge.

maybe a faulty pcb?
Thanks in advance

It is most likely the outdoor unit fan(s) is functioning properly. The system monitors the operating pressures of the refrigerant and will adjust the fan speed to make sure the pressures do not go out of bounds. The fan going off will most likely occur when the load is relatively light as when only one or two indoor units are calling or when the outdoor temps are moderate.
