Dubai is hot, really hot. Humid too as well, so it is worse both for people and airconditioning. Most evaporative coolers are not going to work well, if at all, and any unit you install will need careful attention to both shading and airflow if it is to get any good life at all. Kind of like where I used to work, just more humid. There one fine summer's day the inside air ( after our central aircon had kindly decided it was tired of life and scattered itself over the roof and the outside concrete floor with a loud bang, we went a summer without cooling) was measured at 78C, with outside being a lovely refreshing 42C. Just looked it up on Google earth, it is available with a 50cm resolution.....
