Can anyone please tell me where to find some hints and/or tips on the use/design of hot gas defrost systems.

Thankyou guys. I will go and check the sites you have listed. I run a small refrigeration wholesaling business in South Africa. Hot gas defrost was very popular here 10/15 years ago (A bit before my time!). I decided to relook at this method due to increased concerns about energy costs. I understand the basic idea of hot gas - but I'm sure there will be one or two little tricks!
