Is it possible for excessive superheat to cause oil to vaporize in suction header?

I would say no, please explain problem in more detail.

oil doesn't vaporize in oil sump with can be up to 60deg C when compressor is not running, so i dont think it would in a suction header.

is your problem oil return?
