Yes you can make a back up flash with a reader you can by and any electronics store or just order on from your frick factor although frick will rape you on the cost of the drive. Check the power input to your mother board

How can i back up my flashcard ?
I had to upgrade the software on a Quantum panel several years ago. Frick sent us out a flashcard to update the two machines. I tried to copy it before I sent it back. I was not able to for reasons I did not understand. I put it in a card reader but it would not copy over. Some kind of protection perhaps?

If you get a flash card reader and plug the one from frick into it save all files to your computer as a batch file the you can download it to a new flash card just make sure you get ALL files...
