Hi all,

I am having some trouble in a new office block I have taken over, the customer is turning the control off which is casing issues in keeping the temp of the office correct.

I have seen on some over sites that plastic covers have been put over the controller to stuff these,

The covers I have seen were pretty nice looking and not just like a ip65 clear boxes, can anyone help where I can get these covers.

Many thanks

Chris

rs do them or what i find better is a key lock box the type you keep keys locked away in that way you can access easier than taking the front off

What make and model is the system ? You can probably electronically lock the controller or limit the available functions.

I've used these in the past, I see that the price has gone up since then though. ;)

It is common practice in some places to use dummy controllers for those who like to temper with them and keep the operating controls in the main machine room. Everyone is happy.

toshiba 3 wire controllers were good for that-disconnect the wire c and all u get is a display.
better still fit 2 contollers to a twin system, and watch them fight over a common setpoint /mode haha

We fitted a lockable key cabinet to the controller at work:

£12 prob can find it cheaper - just remove the back of it and install over the controller.

Spose that's a cheap solution back2space as long as the controllers internal stat is not being used?

I like the idea of putting in a controller that does nothing, and placing a remote sensing unit in the ceiling space that does the actual work.
