What i saw today still makes me smile now.
I wish we had camera phones or I had even a basic camera with me.
Take some very large silos for milk storage.
Which were having their outer clad surface cleaned using a pressure washer.

Take one safety cage suspended from a very large crane, add one operative with pressure washer lance in hand.
Tie a long scaffold board sized plank across the front of the cage.

And watch the cage swivel first anti-clockwise until R/Hand side of plank hits the silo.
As the operative pressure washers the L/Hand side of the silo in front of him.
Then watch the cage and plank swing clockwise until the L/Hand end of the plank hits the side of the silo. As the operative washes the R/Hand side of the silo.
Like a large human watch balance wheel!

It was all surreal as this guy lance and cage swing first one way and then the other.
Which would of made a brilliant clip for you-tube.

Only in Cornwall is what I say!
Brilliant bit of lateral thinking, some of the site engineers I was with reckon he was getting dizzy prior to using the plank.
You can't make this stuff up, can you.

I bet you would get dizzy too! I'm not keen on cherry pickers let alone a basket on a cable!

Its true then.

Every action has an opposite and equal reaction.

Awww, why don't you have a camera anyway?

It's part of the standard equipment needed to do my job.
Not for funny stuff like that unfortunately, but the amount of times I go back to the office and a manufacturer tech wants pictures, or if they say your provided serial model is wrong, or to show poor install/flares, or to record start up actions or faults etc. I need a camera just as much as I need a socket set.

what about the sites that won't allow camera's. We have several that won't allow mobiles on-site let alone camera's or phones with camera's attached

You'll have to get yourself a hidden spy camera instead...
