We have an American Style Fridge Freezer which is about 8 yrs old. Over the last 12 months we have noticed that ice builds up near the 'Rapid Cooling' panel behind the two chiller drawers in the base of the 'fridge compartment. We have tried defrosting by switching off but the rapid cooling panel appears to have lifted away from the backing & we cannot push it back - we cannot tell if there is further ice behind it or not.
Can anyone out there offer me some advice as to what might be causing this ice build up & if some engineering solution is available? Hoping this plea does not fall on deaf ears! tks! Adrian
