Anyone know anything about old Toshibas?
Got an old 3 phase ceiling cassette it looks like I need to replace, but I don't even know the capacity of the unit.
It's an RAV-S1253HE8A I think (label is faded - it's probably over 20 years old)

Compressor has no brand name, so I assume thats a toshiba too, model YH506JA.

Google only showing R-E.com link http://www.refrigeration-engineer.com/forums/showthread.php?2833-Toshiba-spare-parts-prices-%A3%A3%A3%A3-s or tohsibaclim.com (french)

Toshiba used to named based on capacity 12.5kW, either 4 Hp or 5 Hp model.
How big is your room size to cool or heat?

Thanks. It's about 10m x 10m, pitched ceiling about 4m high at the lowest, 7-8m high at the highest, (indoor cassette fitted to the bottom of a sheet metal dropper duct in the middle of the room.)

Next question is who makes a cassette system at this capacity these days? I mainly only deal with mtis, fuji or pana, never seen a capacity so large for a cassette. Because there's no ceiling or wall space, is why there is a cassette hanging from a dropper, and not a ducted or a wall split in the first place.

Anyone in western australia want to do the job? :)
