My Harbor Point wall unit just shutdown and wont turn on again. I dont know much about ac units but i cant find any help. The unit itslef was leaking water from the bottom of the unit. I had to put cups under it to catch the water drops coming down. Also it was displaying an F6 error code. I didnt know this meant anything. I just moved into this studio apartment 3 weeks ago and i cant get my landlord to do anything. Any help. And i have a hunch it might be the drainage hose being clogged (this woud explain water dripping back into apartment) how can i unclog hose? and what does F6 mean? and how screwed am i, somehow i think this is gonna be bad and being in FL during summer will suck.

Hello
Maybe if the drainage is unclean and if there is a water pump the latter may have a float switch alarm level contact interconnected with the controls and it holds the AC. The pump may also be dead. So, cleaning the water pipes/changing the pump would resolve the problem.
Try to reset power also (switch off and after a minute switch on the mains).

First try and clean the drain hose.

Haven't found an F6 fault code in the documentation from Harbor Point, sure it's not an E6?
