Dear all,,, can any one help me out with the proper LTD ( leaving temp. Difference) for an air cooled water chiller.
that means the right difference between the water temp. leaving the evaporator and the gas temp leaving the evaporator.
As I recall back in the 80's it was around 8 degree C .

As a rule of thumb;

Water outlet temp = Water inlet temp -5°C
Evaporation temp = Water outlet temp -5°C
Delta T Total = Water inlet temp - Evaporation temp = 10°C
