I have a very noisy 7500 springer condenser. I say it's noisy because i also have a 12000 BTUS carrier condenser that makes much less noise.

Here's a video i made that shows the noise:

The authorised services already changed the compressor but the noise was the same, so it's not the compressor. Maybe this noise is normal for this brand?

Thank you.

Here is the carrier 12.000 BTUS video for comparison:

The noise is more smooth.

Its a different model, one is mounted on brackets and the quieter one on solid ground, one has a fan cowling, one doesn't.....
It is not surprising they sound different.

Just sounds like an air con unit to me :o I hope you haven't made the installing company change the compressor for free, especially as you admit it has made no difference to the sound

They changed the compressor for another problem, wich was not solved either (it was a problem on the internal unit).

It's the acute noise that i find strange, the other unit also makes a loud sound, but it's much more smooth to the ears :)

They may be different styles of compressor, reciprocating, rotary or scroll, all have their own type of noise, also just as your car sounds noisier driving through a tunnel due to the sound bouncing off the walls, mounting a unit in an alcove can make it sound noisier than it would a when stood in open ground. If they are inverter units then they could be running at different speeds also which will effect the sound of them.
