Hello

I am a 6th phase apprentice in Dublin Institute of technology.I must complete a project "On a Refrigeration pack system in your lab, suggest ways of improving the systems efficiency by incorporating methods of subcooling". The pack system in our lab consists of (Five Compressors, Suction Accumulator, oil seperator, suction filters, Heat exchanger), The pack is Refrigerating a few coldrooms freezer room and dairy wall.Plenty of tips will be very grateful.
Thank you John.

Hi John,

I think Hussmann's patented the idea of running the suction pipe through the reciever.

Cheers,
Andy.

Tayters, this device is in most airco's these days and I used i already 25 years ago.
John Francis: install an additional PHE (1circuit liquid from receiver, other circuit connected to the LP liquid from a TEV), a second coil under the condenser (discharge in 1st cond, then to receiver, from receiver to 2nd coil under the 1st one and then to the TEV) or route the liquid in the ground (radiant heating freezer via a PHE).

I hope they didn't pinch it from you and claim the glory!

Cheers,
Andy.
