Got a small enquiry for a 5kw and a 12.5kw split for a cold area the spec is heating down to -20C.

Does anyone with particular knowledge of these outdoor temps recommend a unit which can throw out some heat at those temps

Technically no problem whats so ever, how much do they want to spend?

Not a lot to be honest. This is part of a travelling show which is going on a Europe tour next year and expect to be in Moscow during winter 2012. They have spec'ed std wall mounts. Daikin officially go down to -15 so -20 isn't that much further..

The issue is the KW rating at -20C, some what different to the nominal rating.
Mitsi, have the hyper core range, which they state has the same output rating at -15C as the standard rating (how ever over atime basis does not include defrost), sorry do not know the minimum rating.
