I am a "newbie" to the forum so I apologize in advance for my lack of technical expertise.
My wife noticed that we have a problem with the Freezer this morning (lucky it is cold outside) and I am at a loss how to fix the problem. The fridge freezer was bought in late 2009 and is the new "frost free" type Electrolux Inspire (model number reference in Title)
I have taken it out from the wall (there is plenty of air space around it) and there was no build up of water in the plastic tray.
The fridge no longer seems to turn itself on which made me think of a thermostat problem (I dont know how to check) and the freezer compartment is working fine.
I hope to gain some knowledge to help with the problem, and if I cant fix it have at least a diagnostics that I know what is wrong with it (easy replacement part or whole new freezer :eek: )
