how i can say a compressor is throuing oil. how i muar the oil level of the compressor. what is the instrment for meaur the oil of compressor.

Hi Rizwan ,
Usually the amount of oil in circulation will be 1 to 3% of the mass flow .

Any thing above should be unusual & should be investigated why ......... reasons could be :
a) liquid carry-over to copressor b) suction filter of suction service valve partially blocked whereby the crank-case pressure is lower than suction pressure c) worn out piston rings d) refrigeration piping faulty e) low load / low head pressure
HOW MUCH OIL IS ADDED IN SYSTEM ...... ? QUALITY OF OIL BLACK/ CONTAMINATED .... ?
These are general issues for oil loss / oil not returning

thr z no site glass in the compressor. if i disconnent the compressor from the system then how i will be shour ( how i check) that this compressor is faulty ( oil throuing) what is the prouses to check the problem>?
