Hi we have a unit with a code of UF something to do with current after the test run there's no air flow coming out the ducts this is only three months the electric reading is 222 v when only cooling the indoor fan works fine can anyone help

Probablty compressor is taking too much current due internal fault or faulty power supply to it. Here's the ME checks - note the one about the service valves.

Compressor overcurrent interruption
(When compressor locked)

Abnormal if overcurrent of DC bus or
compressor is detected within 30 seconds
after compressor starts operating.

1 Stop valve is closed.

2 Decrease of power supply voltage

3 Looseness, disconnection or
converse of compressor wiring
connection

4 Defective compressor

5 Defective outdoor power board


1 Open stop valve.

2 Check facility of power supply.

3 Correct the wiring (U·V·W phase) to
compressor.
Refer to 11-9 (Outdoor power circuit board).

4 Check compressor.
Refer to 11-6.
5 Replace outdoor power circuit board.

Thanks Andy, I put it on a test run on heating outdoor unit comes on then it make a terrible nose and switches of when I do the cooling on test this runs for two hours fine but the air flow is bad hope this helps

if the fan is working and no air flow the coil or filter may be dirty the might of made the comp over heat in heating mode damaging the comp if the unit is short of gas comp can over heat or pos faulty 3 way valve
