r600 to 134a

Can It be done without an oil change as an experiment I did just that I had a new r600a comp surpluss and workshop assembled it with R134a and it appears ok but what about the long term ? at present it is running a bottle coller I have in the workshop for lunch stuff I charged it with the cabinet info plate weight, any thoughts

Yes it will work, ive seen it done loads of times especially on bottle coolers but couldnt tell you how long it will last

Cheers for that, I will need to look up the oils for both might be the same
