Hi everyone, I'm Barry, working on AC units for railway.

I am now looking for a kind of smoke detector that could be used in train.
Several standards need to be met, such as IEC 61373, DIN 5510, etc, besides basic standards specially for smoke detector.

Of course the cheaper, the better.......

Thanks in advance!

Perhaps you should try a Fire Detection website as we deal with refrigeration and air conditioning systems here.

Hi Barry.Feng

We are a forum for professional refrigeration engineers, so smoke detectors are not really something that we can help you with.

Maybe you should ask your question on a Smoke Detector forum??

Here's a link I found by 'Googling' http://www.electriciansforums.co.uk/electrical-forum-general-electrical-forum/3391-smoke-detector-problem.html
