Can anyone help with error 17 and 71 TK SMX2 /Thermo Guard 6/

engine failed to crank and code 71 service due.

How do I delete error 71

Enter guarded access
Unit on, not running in continuous mode
Scroll with select ket to ddr
Press TK key and hold until H4
Select and set to 0 all extra hourmeters
Scroll to alarms and select
Delete alarm

That's off the top of my head, but it should be about right.
