Guys please help . A carrier 30GX chiller with a screw compressor which is a 06NA carlyle was overhauled.. there were 2 identical compressors, one with a grounded winding and one with a mechanical problem...
the one with a grounded winding was replaced with a winding from the other.

how do you reinstall a Gear to the shaft if there is no screws, threads or retainers to hold it.
it looks like the gear is just pushed to the shaft. is there an adhesive that could be used or means to make sure the gear wont slide off when operating in 3500rpm.

The gear and shaft would look like this

Hi Cesarnino.
When the drive gear is being either removed or replaced.
A bespoke Electric Heater disc is placed over the gear ring.
Then using special jigs the gear is either replaced or removed with a hydraulic jack.
Having first heated the gear ring to 350 / 380F.
Good Luck.
