Hi all,
i work on outdoor skating rink and now i have a question regarding the load calculation. The total load is according to the ashrae and pure logic the sum of load needed for freezing the water to ice, chilling the structural slab and chilling the water of the system+ building and pump heat load. Regarding the building and pump load-how to find it?
i have preselected the pumps and they are approximately 6kW. Anybody has an idea? the example in the ASHRAE is for building and pump heat load of 170kW. I dont have a building load but the solar radiation is present and also the pump heat load. Anybody anything?any advice would be warmly welcome. I will do the simulation for a cross section and the underfloor cooling pipes will not be a problem.
