Electrolux american fridge freezer - fridge is frozen and cant adjust temp setting

We have an Electrolux American Fridge Freezer that's 2 years old and it won't let us adjust the temperature on the fridge or the freezer - it just bleeps and doesn't change.
Problem is the fridge has started freezing up so we can't adjust it..

Any ideas?
This fridge freezer definitely hasn't been great! I wouldn't buy another electrolux...

You need to post the model number ,Electrolux make a lot of fridge/freezers.
The more info you give the better the chances of someone being able to help you out.
What's the current setpoint for the fridge?

Yeah good point... The model number is: ERL6296XK1
The freezer is set at 8 (out of 9) and the fridge is set at 6 (out of 9) and they always have been. We never needed to adjust them until now.... but we cant.

It's got an ice making machine and a water dispenser, but we moved back in November to a house that we haven't sorted out a water supply for it, so it's currently turned off.

We've tried turning it off for 30 minutes and turning it back on to try and adjust the settings, but no luck. Also turned the fridge off/on using the power button next to the temperature settings.

As above when I press the temp changing buttons the f/f bleeps but doesn't do anything.

Hopefully that's a bit more useful information..
