Could I please get some help on this Carrier truck unit that I'm working on. It came to me with the fans going slow and then they totally stopped and now I have no fans and an Alarm 15 error. Any Ideas or manuals. Many thanks

The unit runs on R404A, and is on a 8 ton truck with two blowers.

Open the Engine door,(passenger side) serial plate there to the left of the electrical posts, but you say there are two fans...my guess its a Gensis R90 if so it has a gen under the electric motor that powers the fans. check the Alt belt is there and tight, check out put from the Gen (AC)..

If it does have a monophase 220v gennie under the standby motor you could also check the condensors (electrical) in the electrics box. If you open the door they should be attatched to the door itself (2 off). they show up on the wiring diagram as C4 & C5. Use the same capacity items as the voltage is dependant on this.

If it is an R90, there are capacitors in the evaps also, I have seen them go bad before. Make sure the engine speed is correct.
