Hello all,
Does anyone know from experience if Honeywell dampers are compatible with the Infinity control by Carrier? I had a customer tell me he installed some ZD series 2 wire dampers made by Honeywell on a zoning system and it wasn't working, it is an Infinity system with an a/c and a variable speed furnace. Now i know that the Carrier dampers are at least 3 wire so i told him that he needs to change the actuators. Then some of the techs in here started talking and saying that they think you have to have Carrier dampers because the control will not communicate with Honeywell. Some other people said he could change the actuators only and it would work, but no one new for sure. I was hoping someone may have experience with this situation before and can advise what they think the best solution would be. Thanks!
