CS2473KR/CU2473KR Panasonic Outdoor fan stops

Hi,

I need to repair a Panasonic split system where on cooling, the outdoor fan only runs about 1-2 minutes then goes off. Apparently the compressor runs ok.

Any thoughts about what to look for please.

Hi Paul,

I am in South Australia.

The parts situation is why I've been called in ... boards are not available, so apparently it may need to be repaired at component level.

My expertise is in electronics, not air cons, so I really need to do my homework and think through everything before I jump in ... and miss the obvious.

Apparently the fan will run at length if fed directly with 240v, so the actual motor is ok. Thanks.
