Fault Code Miele Fridge K851id

Hi, I would be very grateful for any advise on this.

Had a power cut for over 5 hours and my fridge will not work. Power is okay and when turned on the temp display comes on with the No 8 at first as it should. This then turns to F. After a while this changes to a bar.

There is actually nothing in the instructions about this fault code. My best guess is that it may be a fuse. Can anybody advise on this.

Their answer to your display is :-
An error message "F .." appears in the display

Disconnect the appliance from the mains, then reconnect and switch it on again. If the fault message reappears, please contact our Customer Service.

Brian, thanks. You are right mate. Played around with it a bit and got it going but still with an issue. When I select Super Cool it gets down to 2 C. But this selection is only meant for a short time and in any case switches off after 6 hours...... back to not cooling at all.

Any idea what may be causing this fault and is there anything I can do to fix myself.
