Daikin VRV compressor damaged

I have a problem with DAIKIN VRV .... compressor unit is damaged, whether the compressor can be replaced with other compressors in general? or must be replaced by VRV compressor too? ... thank's

Generally you should use the manufacturers replacement compressor, also you may need the inverter drive as well.
