I came across the advertising for the above analyzer, which look very well featured and reasonably priced.
I tried to contact the european rep of YJ with no success (Fairfield technologies in Perthshire, Scotland).

Anyone would like to share experience with that analyzer?
How could I contact Fairfield Technologies or any other EU rep for an offer?

Why not try here?
I think you will get a beter price from the USA.

Hey NNN
I have been using that YJ analyser for about two years now after a few teething problems with the software version installed on it , it's been all good. The problem was rectified by Fairfield tech after getting on to YJ in the USA .It was nothing major the unit had been on a shelf in the suppliers for a while and the software had been superseded.I couldn't download the upgrade due to the installed version.
But now all downloads are available to me and i wouldn't use anything else ,great product.
Cost me E750 i think from Gasco Ireland .
Cheers

I would like to buy from the USA, but the import duty and taxes, plus s&h refrain me from doing so.
As for the price mentioned by Stu, it looks like a little bit overinflated compared to USD price, or isn't it?

E750 is about 1100 dollars now don't know what it was two years ago,
I'll be in gasco tomorrow and i'll check the current cash price.
Cheers

Checked on EBay and they are new units on there by sellers that will ship worldwide.

Also plenty of other sellers - such as Amazon

I've seen the units around $750 and $850US

Certain sellers will post the item and label it as a "gift" so as to not incur you any custom charges.

Yes, and it worked until few years ago. Nowadays custom officers no longer buy it.

Can't you buy it through the company you work for?

What difference does it make?

I don't know how it works in Italy but here I can manipulate with my custom man the content of a package and skip the tax payment.
For example, a few years ago there was tax on condensing units so we stated about the components as, compressor, pressure vessel and air to refrigerant heat exchanger. For some reason, this statement made it free of tax.

I wished it worked like that. No, it doesn't make a difference who the buyer is. The only difference is the VAT which is deductable for the company, and not for me.
