We have to replace the X22a SENPH hp sensor on this old VRV

Do we need to decant or are they 'safe' to remove

Thanks

Hi Richard,

VRV system before VRV III all had pressure sensors that could be replaced without having to recover the system charge. An easy way to tell is to look at the pressure sensor, if it has a brass nut at the top of the copper pipe brazed into the suction or discharge pipes, than you and remove it with recovering the charge. If there is no brass nut than its a braze in job.

Hope it helps.

I have indeed. After 23 years working for a UK Daikin distributer it was the right time to move on. I have set up a new Limited company and started trading on March 8th. So far things are looking good. I was gonna put a link to our website but not sure is it's the right thing on this forum (free advertising and all that).

Look us up.
