Run Hours NH3

Hi there I have a question i would like to ask. i would like to know how many hours these parts have to run in a NH3 system before they have to be overhauled or changed. If any one could help me out with these that would be great cheers.

1. Compressor
2. Coalecis
3. Motors on open drive compressors
4. Cooling tower fan motors
5. Suction filters
6. Liquide line filters
7. V pulley Belts
8. NH3 liquide pump
9. Pressure relief valve

All depends of the plant design and the care/daily service on it. Each plant is a plant.

The compressor could be overhauled after 10.000 to 30.000 hours. All depends on the type of compressor (screw compressors can stand much more than piston compressors) and the operating regime.

This is just a general rough guide

1. Compressor Piston 10-15000hrs Screw 20-40000hrs depends on make
2. Coalecis 2yrs or when excessive oil is thrown over into system
3. Motors on open drive compressors 6-8yrs or when compressor is overhauled
4. Cooling tower fan motors depends on type every 3-4yrs
5. Suction filters annually
6. Liquide line filters annually
7. V pulley Belts monitor & change as required, recommend a complete set when changed
8. NH3 liquide pump normally 6-8yrs if not much cavitation
9. Pressure relief valve 3-5yrs depends on local requirements
