are you geting day off for royal wedding the company i work for are giving us the day off but taking the day out of our holiday alowance

Obviously they're not Royalists then. We've got the day off but don't think it comes out of our holiday allowance.
Time we have to take off over Christmas is.

Didn't think they could take it of your allowance i thought it was a public holiday which is statutory, i could be wrong though i'll have to look into it myself, and if it is to be deducted prince charming can watch his own wedding on TV i'll be in a plant room:D:D

I`ll be working that day for myself. As a republican I couldn`t give a toss about it. Don`t get me wrong, I wish Bill and his bird all the best but all the lickspittles and lackeys going on about how happy we all are is making me nauseus.
By the way, it`s costing my boss over two grand in lost revenue so he`s not too happy either.

Just read the article and it would appear i get it off with pay on top of my normal hols
