You can download the VRVIII service document from the Daikin website if you register.

I've had a look though and L2 code isn't mentioned. Unless a Daikin guru posts here then you will need to call them.

Well, I did edit my post soon after I did it but it looks like it didn't work.

The L codes refer to faults with the inverter compressor. If you get a chance then maybe you could check through charging circuit, IPM, compressor...
