looked at a 550 carier 1993 model on r22 no heating found hg valve coil faulty replaced found not charging all sorted but it now brings up sa sensor supply air i pressume but i thought supply air sensors where only on units with extra heaters which this unit has not display on controller reads what temp is any advise ta charlie;)

That does sound odd. I wonder if the micro is configged wrong? Do you have a book? If not, post your email and I will send you one that should be close. (Our units are slightly differant.)

ta will do i am also wondering if there is another fault as ra sensor works ok and its shutting down on another fault?

I'm not sure about over there but over here that unit does not use supply air sensor. I would expect to see an "RA" sensor but now an "SA"

have found ra sensor and that brings up ra fault but sa only used to be for seperate heater bank which it doees not have any advise

You will need to get into the configs and chack them. Start there. Best way is to use a laptop. You can also jump the serial port but I don't like seing people do that unless they know what they are doing.

First I need to know your knowlage base. I don't want to be reponsable for you nuking a micro. Do you have a config list?
I will help you but I don't think I will be helping you if I put you beyond your capability.

out of touch on these old units have the laptop for the new units but it wont let me in yhese no manual either
