Any Ideas??

Think i know the answer to this one but didnt know whether any one had any ideas?

Daikin single split losing pressure located leak on outdoor unit liquid side valve.

valve core (Shreadar)(Spelling!) had a been bent and threfore pin wasent sitting straight.

Pumped system down and attempted to remove existing valve core but the thread snapped all the way round thus not letting me remove the valve core:mad:


Any ideas or is it just a new valve jobby?

A Daikin will probably have a high side access port inside the casing so just refit the port cover, ensuring a good seal, and label it as a damaged Schraeder - do not use.

flare a new schyder on over the top of the damaged one, great trick pulled me out loadsa times

would have used a shrader extraction tool to change it with the gas in the system,

The best way! Do it all the time whenever a schreader valve leaks.
