I was called to a site with a unit showing this fault, reset unit and ran away fine for about 5 hours, cut out on same fault. Toshiba tech support wasnt in the office so he couldn't help. I checked a few other units in the building and they showed the same fault in the memory. Can anyone help?

Thanks

L29 Error on outdoor unit, etc.
· Communication error between
CDB and IPDU
(Coming-off of connector)
· Heat sink temperature
error
(Temperature over specified
value was detected.)

1. CDB and IPDU wiring cables check
2. Abnormal overload operation of refrigerating cycle

Ambint temp where condensers are located is about 40 Celsius so over temp of heat sink sounds to be right. I'll check all the other possibilities too. That fact that other units have had same fault is a clue too. Thanks for you help guys

check the condenser coils are clean and put some systems in heating to lower the ambient around condensers, also ensure the inverter cooling fins are clean too
