I have recently moved jobs and part of the deal was day release to college to study refrigeration and a/c.I started this week and got on fine but wondered are there any good books etc to aid me?
I am starting from scratch really. I have previously only helped out a/c engineers maintain splits/change compressors etc.
Any help appreciated

Hi Coupedummy and welcome to our forum.
I would highly recommend Principles of refrigeration - Roy Dossat, pretty heavy on theory and calculation. Also Modern Refrigeration and Air Conditioning - Althouse, Turnquist, Bracciiano for the amount of info with lots of coloured pictures. I would suggest you buy second hand off the internet as sometimes older editions are better. Don't forget to check for imperial/metric versions depending on what you use in your area. Others will have more titles for you to check.
On top of that there is a wealth of EBooks available some links are on this forum, you will find with a search.
