Hi guys new to the forum. Was called out to the unit above,Not really familiar with the misti heavy stuff as i normally work on just mitsubishi a/c.
Problem im getting is when i switch on the power at the isolator it trips the breaker in the distribution board straight away.
Was wondering what gets power straight away in these units i.e crank case heater etc only had a quick five minute look tonight as its dark and couldn't see much so heading back tommorow in the day light.
The system is less than a year old.

Water in the isolator would be the first thing I'd check.
Or possibly welded contactor if it's non inverter, not familiar with the model myself but at 1 year old it probably is inverter, disconnect the electrics at the unit and flip the isolator to see if the breaker stays up.
And buy a torch:D

Inverter board or Power board?

I had this recently and it turned out the inverter board had one and had taken out the power board.

Follow the wiring diagram and then its a process of elimination.
