hi guys have come across a very old packaged a/c. build date 1978. its a emailair r20h. the compressor part number is mvd 072. its the original compressor i think. the compressor has burnt out. what is the replacement compressor. i think its a 20kw system. what model copeland zr would be needed.

Im not familiar with the MVD series but we have the older MTO or the MTZ for Manuerop compressors here. I crossed the 072 to a copeland (i know our ratingS are different, but this is what i can give you)
MTO/MTZ IS 70,177 BTU'S at 45evap and 130 condensing
for Copeland;
ZR68KC is 70,000 btu's at 45 evap and 130 cond
ZR72 is 72,900 for the same as above
