Carrier Supra 750 wont run reefer says oil warning

Carrier Supra 750 wont run reefer says oil warning but has oil to the correct levels suspect oil sender unit has anyone had this problem have not reset the reefer as I havent yet made a cable have the software but need to fix oil problem first.

1. was the unit only cranks and not running? if so, it will alarm on "low engine oil pressure" as it sends signal to micro-p. try to check first the cause of not running by checking the fuel system; fuel sol. & diesel pump electric feeds.
2. if it is not cranking at all then check the oil sender or better try to cross its connector before re-starting.

If it alarms oil before running it is the alternator. The micro sees voltage at the alternator and thinks it's running. Therefore it sees no oil pressure and alarms.
