Thanks sedgy.perhaps you could assist with another one? checking the temps on the liquid and suction i get 5 Deg (70psig) liquid 13 deg suction (92psig) so +7 accross the evap.Does that sound correct for R22 and what would you expect for 407 and 410a?

Sorry I'm not a mod but for hi temp application (ac) I would expect around 60 - 70 psi for r22 suction press. If you give us more detail on the system your working on we could help further. As for the r4XX I'm not sure but you could check on a pressure temp chart.

You need to use a refrigerant comparator to convert the temperatures to pressures.

For all high temp applications your saturated suction temp should be around 0C (depending on the load) wether you are using R22, R407c, R410a the temps stay the same yet the pressures differ which is why comparators are used.
